The undergraduate program in atmospheric sciences gives students a strong quantitative undergraduate education in atmospheric, climate, and related sciences to understand the basic principles behind current and emerging issues in weather, climate variability, and climate change.

The Master in Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (MMASc) aims to train professionals able to integrate in their specific activities the multidisciplinary characteristics (chemical, physical, geological, biological and social) involved in marine and atmospheric processes.

The Master's Programme in Atmospheric Sciences (ATM-MP) educates all meteorologists in Finland about weather forecasting, meteorological research and aviation safety. We also educate hydrospheric geophysicists to work in the fields of cryology, hydrology and oceanography, and chemists and aerosol physicists to work in companies.

The program promotes research excellence and educates students on the scientific frontiers and advanced methodologies at the vanguard of interconnected issues related to Climate and Atmospheric Sciences, Energy, Hydrology, Sustainable Built Environment, and Sustainable Policy.

The Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences Program studies the physical, chemical, and biological processes that affect the composition and dynamics of the atmosphere. Research is directly linked to an undergraduate and graduate program that provides a fundamental understanding of the atmosphere, and opportunities for applied research, theoretical research, and technical training to prepare students for careers in meteorology, atmospheric science, remote sensing and environmental technology and science.

The Master's program in Atmospheric and Near Space Sciences offers a modern, complex training for understanding the processes taking place in the Earth’s lower and upper atmosphere-ionosphere under different helio-geophysical conditions, for their modeling and forecasting. students will learn theoretical and observational methods of atmospheric research, data processing, and numerical modeling.

As the world's climate changes, the demand for individuals with the education and training to understand our atmosphere and the factors that shape it is growing. A degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology will prepare you for impact in this area through coursework and internships in the use of data from surface air stations, satellites, radar and more. You'll learn to predict weather, flooding, air pollution and impacts of climate change.

The Associate of Science – Transfer Degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to specific science majors at four-year colleges or universities. Students pursuing this degree are required to select a field of specialization from an approved list and will be assigned a TCC advisor to understand specialization requirements. Atmospheric Science is a field of specialization at TCC. It offers an opportunity to study the natural forces that shape weather and climate. TCC offers courses that cover the first two years of a typical four-year atmospheric sciences program. Students will earn an Associate of Science – Track 2 (Transfer) degree to enter into a four-year college or university.

The Rosenstiel School Undergraduate Program offers both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree options. The program curriculum includes sciences, mathematics, and liberal arts, allowing students to develop interests in and appreciation of the arts, humanities, and social sciences as well as the natural sciences. ACT and SAT waived/not required/optional!

Put simply, atmospheric and environmental science is the study of weather and climate. This field of study strives to study short-term weather patterns as well as long-term climate processes. MSc Applied Meteorology and Climatology allows you to develop the knowledge of processes which are key to understanding our interaction with the natural environment. This course trains you to understand, model, and predict atmospheric processes, and manage atmospheric data for various sectors.

The Course, direct heir of a similar course born together with the University a century ago, aims to train qualified professionals in the sectors of Maritime and Air Navigation Sciences, Meteorology and Oceanography.

The master's degree in Meteorology and Climate Sciences is mainly aimed at students with special interest in understanding the atmosphere and climate, with particular sensitivity to the challenges involved in improving the representation of observations, the modelling of physical processes that occur in the atmosphere, and the understanding of climate change and its projection according to different socioeconomic situations.
