Cybersecurity has become a major concern for organizations and individuals who utilize computers. With the Cybersecurity degree from Jamestown Community College, you can transfer to a four-year institution and major in cybersecurity or computer science. The Associate in Science Degree in Computer Science for Transfer provides opportunities to study the computing environment for business and scientific solution automation. The degree facilitates transfer into the CSU system. An advanced degree, such as a baccalaureate degree, will prepare students for careers related to business and science programming solutions and management.

The Associate of Science Degree (Computing and Information Sciences) guides students to a degree with a high concentration of both theoretical and applied computing and information science courses. It provides the basis of knowledge in Computing and Information Science that can lead to employment in this important and growing field.

The Associate in Science in Computer Science for Transfer degree is intended for students interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Computer Science, or similar major.

The Associate of Science in Biotechnology Manufacturing Technician prepares graduates with the skills and experience to work in the biotechnology industry as a production technician. A production technician operates and maintains equipment used to manufacture protein pharmaceutical products.

The Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T) is intended for students who plan to complete a bachelor's degree in a similar major at a CSU campus. Students completing these degrees (AA-T or AS-T) are guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus or major.

The Computer Science Applications and Development program prepares CSM graduates for entry-level programming positions with companies of all sizes. The program emphasis is on cultivating computer professionals who are technically competent and work well with others.

The Biotechnology degree and certificates prepare graduates for careers in the life science industry and for transfer. Students receive hands-on training in biology and chemistry and master a variety of skills essential to the field of biotechnology.

The program emphasizes direct employment skills and provides a strong foundation in small to medium-scale network infrastructure. A Certificate is also available. Both the Certificate and Associate Degree are designed to develop entry-level careers and enhance existing careers.

Students in the Computer and Information Science program at CSM are trained primarily on PC microcomputers and receive the finest training and experience available in areas such as programming, data communications, applications development, network support, end-user support, and hardware/systems support.

Surgical Technologists are employed in hospitals, surgery centers, and physician's offices to deliver patient care before, during and after surgery. Skyline's program combines academic and clinical instruction that includes learning to prepare surgical instruments, passing them to the surgeon, and handling specialized equipment.
