9 On-Campus Business and Management Associate of Science Programs

Students will gain an understanding of the functional areas of business, including marketing, advertising, finance, management, operations, business information systems, business law, and human resources. It will prepare students for a career in business focusing on areas such as marketing, global business, management, finance, and general business.

An Associate in Science in Business Administration for Transfer 2.0 (AS-T) from Skyline College is intended for students who are interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Business Administration, or similar major.

The Associate in Science Degree in Business Administration for Transfer (AS-T Business Administration) is designed to provide students with the common core of lower division courses required to transfer and pursue a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration.

The Business Management degree program is designed for students who are interested in a professional degree in business, marketing, management or training, as well as for students preparing for career entry positions.

The Business Administration associate degree at Jamestown Community College prepares you for transfer and professional careers in accounting (CPA or CMA), business administration, financial management, human resource management, industrial relations, international business, management science, marketing, and production control.

Engineering is one of the largest professions in the United States, with over one million jobs in fields ranging from airplane design to pollution control. The three largest branches of engineering are electrical, mechanical, and civil. All branches of engineering place a heavy emphasis on problem-solving and mathematics. Engineering education focuses on teaching scientific and engineering concepts and their application to the creative and effective solution of problems.

The program emphasizes direct employment skills and provides a strong foundation in small to medium-scale network infrastructure. A Certificate is also available. Both the Certificate and Associate Degree are designed to develop entry-level careers and enhance existing careers.

The Sport Management A.S. degree at Jamestown Community College prepares you to transfer to a bachelor’s program and pursue careers working with youth, scholastic, intercollegiate, and professional athletic organizations. Popular fields include sport management, sport facility management, campus and community recreation programs, and fitness management. You can also study for careers in sport information focused on public relations, marketing, promotions, and media communication.
