The Culinary Arts program is designed to prepare you for careers in the culinary arts, food and beverage management, restaurant management, catering, institutional food service, and professional chefs.

Culinary Arts 111 provides an introduction and application of the principles of food preparation for the consumer by professionals. The course emphasizes hands-on cooking, tasting, and evaluation to teach professional culinary techniques. The course also stresses how ingredients and culinary processes affect product outcomes.

Culinary Arts provides students with a complete and versatile background in culinary arts. Students study Classical French, International, and American regional cuisines, pastry arts, table-side cookery, buffet catering, advanced grade manger production, and other culinary topics.

Gallatin College’s Culinary Arts teach students relevant coursework and offer experiential education in the Culinary Arts profession.
