The Entrepreneurship program is designed to prepare students to start, develop, finance, manage and harvest new ventures with high growth potential. Students will examine the current academic theory, best practices in the field and will be exposed to successful practicing entrepreneurs. Courses are presented within an active learning environment so that students develop the necessary skills to initiate their own ventures, join the family business, or work in entrepreneurial firms anywhere in the world.

Students may, with guidance from an Academic Advisor as well as a Faculty Advisor, make changes to their specific course sequence. The student should be aware that changes may result in more than four semesters to complete their desired Associate Degree. The Business Administration option in the Enterprise Development Degree is a flexible two‐year degree in business that includes the most desirable core competencies requested by employers and will provide a degree completion framework that matches student aspirations with the needs of all industry sectors. This option provides a well‐rounded degree program, while allowing the student to focus on the knowledge, skills, and attributes needed in their chosen field. The central themes of this degree program offer undergraduates the opportunity to learn and practice core skills for business growth, become organizational leaders, master key technology processes, and continuously upgrade those skills throughout their working years.
