Child Development offers programs for career and transfer students. Certificates of Performance, Certificates of Achievement and Associate Degree programs are available to students interested in a range of child development opportunities and in meeting the requirements for the State of California Child Development Permits and the California State Department of Social Services, Title 22, Community Care Licensing.

While SDCC does not currently have an Administration of Justice program, we offer a couple of classes that you can use as associate degree electives. These courses will introduce you to the Criminal Justice System's functions, including administrative aspects of law enforcement, the court system, and the corrections system.

The documentation of business activities is accomplished through accounting. Without accurate and timely accounting information businesses do not know their financial position, who owes them money, who they owe money to, what assets they have available for business processes, etc.

The Chemistry Program permits the student to fulfil the lower-division chemistry for transfer programs to four-year institutions and acquire the necessary skills for employment in Chemistry.

The Real Estate program offers various courses that provide students with the technical and practical knowledge needed to succeed in the Real Estate industry. This includes courses that meet the State’s educational requirements for the broker’s examination and electives for the salesperson’s license.

Paralegals assist attorneys in providing quality legal services to clients. The Paralegal program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to assist lawyers in law practice.*

This program of study is directed toward developing problem-solving skills. In conjunction with the understanding of computers and computer systems, these skills will enable a graduate of the program to apply their knowledge to finding solutions to problems that arise in the science, business, industry, government, and education sectors.

The program provides students with technical knowledge and skills, creative problem solving, environmental applications, and business practices that will allow them to enter the profession of Interior Design.
