The Network Engineering Technology Associate in Science (A.S.) degree program at Valencia College is a two-year program that prepares you to go directly into a specialized career in computer networking.

Students in the Computer Networking/IT program can earn an Associate in Science Degree, Certificate of Achievement, or a Proficiency Award in specific IT focus areas such as Cisco networking, wireless networking, cybersecurity, and Microsoft operating systems.

This degree will introduce networking and firewall functionality, configuring a firewall and local area networks to include a functional networking demilitarized zone (DMZ) and incident response, forensics, and team training.
