This program generally prepares individuals to plan, organize, direct, and control the functions and processes of a firm or organization with an emphasis on people as the most important asset of a business. This program will prepare individuals seeking management positions to be better candidates for promotion, and those already in management positions to improve their management skills and effectiveness. This includes instruction in management practice and theory, human resources management and behavior, interpersonal communications in a business setting, marketing management, and business decision making.

This program prepares individuals to supervise and manage operations and personnel of business offices, including supervision, budget preparation, scheduling, office systems, and records.

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Applied Technical Management allows a student to complete a diploma in a Technical College System of Georgia program area and continue to this AAS.

Victoria College Business Management Program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in business management and one Level I certificate and three Occupational Skills Certificates.

Goshen County continues to lead the state of Wyoming in most areas of Ag production and students that come here are encouraged to take full advantage of this. Most students find part-time, Ag-related jobs in the community. In fact, our Farm and Ranch Management program includes an internship. Students have a few options when it comes to choosing a degree path. The Associate of Science degree in Agri-Business and Sciences has six options: a General Agriculture option for those that are not sure in what specific area in agriculture they would like to major, a Business option, a Communications option, an Agroecology/Agronomy option, an Animal Science option, and an Equine Science option. The AS degree is for students who plan to enroll in a four-year school after EWC. Farm and Ranch Management is an Associate of Applied Science degree. These students will take courses in ag-business, animal science, as well as plant science, to ensure they are ready to enter the workforce immediately following graduation. Possible jobs with this degree include farm or ranch management, feedlot management, sales (feed, fertilizer, seed), or machinery and equipment dealerships, just to name a few. We also offer a Beef Production Certificate. This is a one year program for students who would like to learn more about the beef industry.

The purpose of the FSCC Farm and Ranch Management Associates of Applied Science degree is to provide students with the basic skills and knowledge needed in different agriculture industry sectors. The curriculum suggested is for students planning to enter an agricultural career upon completing the FSCC two-year program.

The Schoolcraft College marketing and applied management program produces well-trained individuals who work in the distribution of goods and services. These individuals serve the customer and represent the company to the consumer. Therefore, graduates must be able to think, communicate and apply knowledge of the business.

The Business Management and Accounting program prepares students for a variety of responsible managerial positions.

Working in an environment that simulates global business markets, you’ll develop the skills necessary to actively participate in various roles within the management structure of different types of modern organizations. You’ll also have opportunities to work on projects that are focused on community engagement, as well as a study under the guidance of experts on special topics such as data mining, negotiations, business, and society.

The technology programs at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology (BFIT) prepare students to assist engineers and other professionals with the technical aspects of a project. This program trains graduates to optimize and streamline business operations through more efficient project management, blueprinting project scope and determining workflow. Graduates of this degree have a solid understanding of both the technical operations and the business strategy of a company and can, therefore, serve as the liaisons between the production floor and the boardroom. They assist with external and internal customer service, financial analysis of technical products, human resource management of technical staff, and marketing.

The program introduces the student to the world of commercial transactions, which occur in the distribution of resources in our American economic system. The Business Management program provides students with the education and training needed for entry-level supervisory and management positions in government, retail, banking, and hospitality.

This program is designed to meet both the needs of people preparing for careers in business management and men and women who are already actively engaged in business and industry.
