This Associate of Science in Hospitality and Restaurant Management prepares students for mid-level or Manager-In-Training position in the hospitality industry. Students gain practical and management training in food safety and sanitation, food production, dining room service management, supervision, cost control, financial accounting, lodging management, and hospitality law.

The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Food and Hospitality Management provides students with the basic and advanced skills, practice, and experience needed to build a professional career as a food service manager. This degree program will equip students to advance into progressively more responsible supervisory roles as their experience and skills develop. Components of the degree program include in-depth supervisory and management theory, guest service as well as hands-on food preparation practice.

The Hospitality and Ecotourism program is designed to prepare students to work in fields that serve visitors on the Olympic Peninsula. Foundation courses introduce students to hospitality, ecotourism, marketing, and human relations. Core courses expand student knowledge and skills in hotel facilities and technology, event management, marketing, ecotourism, tourism policy and planning, and accounting. Capstone courses provide practicum experience and opportunities for service learning projects with local employers. Students are required to have access to a computer, the internet, and a browser. This degree can be completed online.

The Hospitality Program is designed to offer students an in-depth introduction to a career in Hotel and Hospitality Management. The program is designed to allow students to further their immediate job skills as well as achieve the ability to transfer to four-year institutions. Students who complete the required HM course final examinations will be awarded an American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH & LA) course certificate for each course. Additionally, students who complete all eight of the required HM course final examinations will earn the prestigious Hospitality Operations Certificate from the AH & LA.

The AAS in Hospitality Management-Entrepreneurship option is designed to provide students with an introduction to the unique concepts of business ownership in the Hospitality Industry. This option will focus on how new business ventures are created.

Associate in Science in Business‐‐Hospitality Management Option This is a suggested course sequence only. Students may, with guidance from an Academic Advisor as well as a Faculty Advisor, make changes to their specific course sequence. The student should be aware that changes may result in more than four semesters to complete their desired Associates Degree. An Associate in Science in Business--Hospitality Management Option is a general business transfer degree specifically designed to transfer to Southeastern Oklahoma State University. It may also transfer to other regional or comprehensive universities. When students transfer, they can decide to specialize in specific areas of business such as Hospitality Management in hotels, Restaurant, or Casino operations, or the Tourism Industry. Students interested in transferring to a four-year university should consult with an academic advisor from that school to ensure transferability and completion of the appropriate program electives.
