The Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Technology degree program is designed to enable graduates to enter various fields of the industry after completing two years of study. Graduates may also elect to continue their education in the four-year Industrial Technology Program. Graduates of the two-year curriculum will be awarded the degree of Associate of Applied Science.

The Packaging Design AAS comprises 60 credits of coursework that prepares students for entry-level employment in the multi-billion dollar packaging and display industry. It also provides workers who want to update their skills in this discipline the opportunity to do so.

This program is designed to prepare the student for a career in a wide range of industries including product and industrial design firms and fabrication and manufacturing companies. Students are introduced to product development from design through prototyping and fabrication for manufacturing.

This program prepares students to enter the field of architecture and related areas. The student is provided with an option of direct employment in the field or preparation for transfer to a professional school of architecture. The Design Concentration focuses on studio-based design projects, drawing, and presentation skills. The student will develop a portfolio of work relevant to their concentration.

This program prepares students for a wide variety of careers in graphic design and digital media production. This includes instruction in graphic design, typography, digital illustration, photo manipulation, web design, animation, motion graphics, advertising design, entertainment graphics, and production art, using the latest equipment and software available. The primary purpose of the Interior Design Technology, A. S. Degree Program is to prepare students for initial employment in the interior design, architecture, or construction industry. The Web Design & Development Associate's Degree prepares students with the skills necessary for organizational web design, development, and management. Coursework includes applying current trends in web technology, standards, and applications to real-world projects. Successful students will be able to work in development teams and effectively communicate in the web design and development industry.

Students will work with the same hardware and software that industry pros use, including Apple iMacs; Intel-based PCs; design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat, and packaging software including Arden Impact. This will prepare students to work as entry-level designers or on their own as freelance designers.

The Digital & Interactive Media Production, AS program is designed to equip students with skills that prepare them for entry-level positions in media, multimedia, editing, producing, and related professions, embracing excellence and diversity. We focus on broad, transferable skills, and stress understanding and demonstration of the following elements of the media production industry: audience analysis and estimation, media literacy, interpersonal and business communications, employability skills.
