The Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission approves the nursing program, and the program is accredited by National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation. Students who complete the two-year associate degree program are eligible to take national board exams for registered nurses. Gateway Technical College’s Nursing associate degree program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing and includes classroom instruction and supervised clinical experiences in local hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Minimum GPA requirements are established by each receiving institution. Meeting SVC’s minimum GPA requirements does not guarantee admission into a BSN program.
