Our design-led Architectural Technology BSc will give you the skills you need to launch your career in design and development. From architectural composition and technical analysis to the business and management skills you'll need for contract procurement, we'll teach you how to apply technical decision-making to real-life design challenges. Learning in our dedicated Architectural Technology studio and working on real design briefs, you’ll develop a sound understanding of the processes of design and construction and the management tools, particularly CAD, for communicating design information. You'll gain an understanding of the multidisciplinary and collaborative nature of the modern construction industry, and will have the chance to work alongside students from all construction courses in Year 1. Studying the Architectural Technology BSc will give you the framework to practise privately, or — on a successful MCIAT chartership — run a business in the architectural and construction industries. All of our courses are delivered using an enquiry-based blended learning approach involving workshops, lectures, tutorials and independent study. We assess your learning through a variety of methods including project work, essays and exams.

The architecture program was established in 2017. The development of the program and the high acceptance rate resulted in the separation of the school, and as of 2021, a new School of Architecture and Design has already been established. The Caucasus University English-language architecture program has been designated as a candidate for membership in the world's most famous and prestigious professional organization, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

The Master of Architecture (MArch) (RIBA pt II) is a long-established and well-respected course that is prescribed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to give exemption from the second stage of professional education. The emphasis of the course is on innovative design work and on developing a caring and critical approach to the study and practice of architecture. The course fosters diversity of choice, interpretation and approach, whether in design projects or more academic research. The former focuses on sophisticated design programmes (informal, technical, professional or urban terms) that demand rigour and self-criticism. The latter focuses on your major dissertation, an extended piece of specialised research into architecture and its historical or theoretical contexts. The course has three main objectives: to develop your design ability through project-based experimentation; to present an evaluation and critique of your coursework within a broad cultural context and in light of technical, economic and legal constraints; to promote the articulate explanation and representation of quality and value in design projects.

Architectural Science - BArchSc Hons and learn to transform our world to create better performing, creative, sustainable and beautifully built environments. Youll be encouraged to use your creative ability to help better meet the future needs of a sustainable society and community. This program is the only undergraduate program in Canada to integrate architecture, building science, and project management.

The Architectural Engineering Technology (ARC) program synthesizes the aesthetic, technical and functional elements of building design and construction.

The Architectural Technician program at Loyalist College is designed to prepare students for careers in designing and building residential, commercial, and institutional spaces. This two-year Ontario College Diploma program, available at the Belleville campus, combines studio work, classroom instruction, and field trips to provide practical, hands-on learning experiences. Students will develop skills in manual and computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), and will work on real-world projects to create 3D models using the latest software.

Prepare to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the development, documentation, and management of the sustainable built environment. Complete three full semesters of paid coop to refine your skills. Specialize in your final year of study in either design or construction management to refine your skill set in your area of interest.
