The Master in Aquaculture and Fisheries has two specializations: one in Aquaculture and another in Fisheries. In addition to the predominant areas of the Aquaculture and Fisheries Sciences course, other important areas are Environmental Sciences and Biological Sciences.

This Master's Degree has the overall aim of training professionals to be capable of corresponding to the needs of the Aquaculture industry, contributing to an improvement in sustainable productivity, Health and Welfare in Aquaculture, and to the increase in quality of Food Safety and Public Health.

The master's degree provides students with the knowledge and skills to design and carry out research in aquaculture and give professional answers, design and management of continental and marine facilities, environmental impact assessment and R+D+i needs, for the development of the aquaculture industry. . It is an interuniversity master's degree with the universities of A Coruña and Vigo.

The Master in Science and Technology of Conservation of Fishery Products is designed to train qualified professionals within this industrial field and to allow the sector to equip itself with technologists specialized in the conservation of fisheries and aquaculture products.

Master of Science in Aquaculture is defined as the production of aquatic plants and animals for human consumption. Under the pressure of the increasing world population on the one side and the stagnating or even declining fishery landings on the other side, aquaculture is considered the only option to respond to the growing demand for healthy and sustainable seafood.

AquaH, the International Master of Science in Health Management in Aquaculture,  is a 2-year master's program that studies the interaction between the health of aquaculture species and their environment. The program contributes to the sustainable supply of healthy and tasty seafood by training experts who are able to develop innovative solutions to current and future health and disease problems in the aquaculture industry.

With this Master's degree, the aim is to acquire advanced, specialized and multidisciplinary training, aimed at knowing the current state of research in the field of aquaculture.

Aquatic and fisheries science is the study of aquatic ecosystems to increase scientific understanding and to apply this knowledge to their management and conservation, thereby sustaining them for multiple uses.

MAR-BIO is a research-based Master's program combining competence from different Nordic countries to educate next-generation professionals within the area of blue growth and marine circular economy. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the students gain insight into the interaction between Fisheries, Aquaculture, Environment, Law, Management, Production and Utilisation of Marine Bio-resources.

The programme seeks to train professionals for the aquaculture sector with a high level of scientific knowledge, a mastery of multidisciplinary techniques and the capacity to assume managerial responsibilities. It offers students the chance to develop the skills needed to carry out research, development and innovation in the public and private sectors.

A regular three to five year program requires a minimum of 48 and 72 credits, respectively. The program has six modules to fulfill the knowledge branch of fisheries.
