The master’s program in medical physics combines your interest in physics with applications in medicine. You will study how radiation is used within health care to diagnose and treat diseases, and you will undergo practical training at the hospital.

The program targets to support students in development of understanding of the essence of Health Care Sciences (Rehabilitation and Nursing), equip them with skills necessary for working in diverse health care settings, be competent and competitive in multicultural environment.

The Radiologic Technology program, which is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), is designed to prepare students to function as certified radiologic technologists. Students will gain knowledge and understanding of the diagnostic uses of X-rays, as well as the technical skills to use x-ray equipment in both laboratory and clinical settings. The courses are developed to enable students to operate x-ray equipment, assist in the diagnosis of disease, and observe proper medical ethics. Students will learn the nature of radiation, the principles of electricity, the structure of x-ray machines, and the operation of a clinical x-ray department.

The Bachelor of Arts in Allied Health program comprises a rigorous curriculum that combines foundational biological, chemical, and physical knowledge with a variety of applied topics including psychology, kinesiology, statistics, and electives tailored to the student’s career goals. This program also provides an environment where undergraduate students can develop a Christian worldview and learn to integrate their faith into their future careers as allied health professionals.

Students interested in pursuing a healthcare-related professional degree following their undergraduate program are considered “Pre-Health” students. In order to reach this goal, the student must complete academic prerequisites and extracurricular requirements to prepare for an application to the professional school. We refer to this as following a “pre-health track.”
