Aviation Technician - Aircraft Maintenance (Co-op) is a two-year Ontario college diploma program. Students will learn about the aspects of aircraft systems used in general aviation, corporate, transport category aircraft, and helicopters. Graduates will be prepared for a career within domestic or international aircraft maintenance and aviation manufacturing organizations.

Aviation Technician - Avionics Maintenance (Co-op) is a two-year Ontario college diploma program. Students will learn about aircraft avionics systems used in general aviation, corporate, charter transport category aircraft, and helicopters. Graduates gain cutting-edge electronic system skills and knowledge of aerodynamics, safety, and flight control systems.

Learn the necessary skills to seek employment in the aircraft maintenance trade, specific to the structure of aircraft. Geared towards those with little or no previous experience in the field, this program equips participants to apprentice as Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. The program consists of 37 weeks (1062 hours) of full-time studies.

The Program includes aluminum fabrication and repair, carbon fiber and fiber glass lay ups and repair, Non-Destructive Evaluation (liquid penetrant and eddy current), and refinishing and painting. This Transport Canada approved program provides theory and hands-on training to prepare students for certification by Transport Canada, as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures AME-S. 12 months credit towards the 36 months practical work experience required for certification.

The Aircraft Structural Repair Technician program introduces students to the exciting world of aviation repair. Students will learn to repair, overhaul, and modify commercial aircraft. Graduates of this program will be prepared for careers in maintenance, repair, and overhaul organizations.

You will learn to maintain aircraft airworthiness; check, repair, replace or modify aircraft components to maintain aircraft airworthiness and research and troubleshoot problems with the aircraft and write technical reports.

This multidisciplinary program offers theoretical and practical training on fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Learn to troubleshoot vital aircraft components and systems including the engine, hydraulics and landing gear. Intensive structures training in the third year includes: damage inspection and evaluation, manufacturing and repair techniques, and advanced fitting and assembly procedures.
