The master's study program in Engineering of Artificial Intelligence focuses on preparing the next generation of AI specialists. The studies will not only delve into the core principles of the methods and technologies used in artificial intelligence. They will also focus on understanding and applying the latest technologies in different fields. The applied dimension will be ensured by mastering existing and emerging AI technologies for processing and generating different types of data (numeric, text, images, audio), by delving into the nuances of the infrastructure used for the relevant AI solutions (distributed systems, big data, the Internet of Things), taking into account the ethical, legal and end-user acceptance requirements of AI solutions.  

The aim of this study program is to prepare highly competent information technology specialists, who can develop intelligent software systems applying machine learning, image recognition, data processing and data analysis algorithms.

The study program "Artificial Intelligence Systems" aims to equip students with a strong foundation in informatics and electronics engineering. Students will learn the principles of machine learning, which will enable them to solve problems related to image recognition, natural language processing, regression, and classification. Upon completion of the program, students will have the skills and knowledge needed to develop and implement artificial intelligence systems.

The specialization of Artificial Intelligence Systems is fully taughtin English language in the Master'sprogramme of Information Electronics Systems. Studies are focused to give an in-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence and open source electronic systems and services. The students also develop the capacity to develop and apply them. Furthermore, Master‘s students are challenged to analyze how to best conduct applied research in the field of computer engineering. Artificial intelligence systems can independently perform tasks that were previously performed exclusively by human beings. Among such tasks are image perception, speech recognition, identification of a person and his/her behavior, or even real-time decision making. Students in „Artificial intelligence systems“ specialization will gain knowledge on how to independently design, operate, and further develop embedded systems of information processing, diagnostics and management based on artificial intelligence, to be applied in the field of biomedicine.

The master's study program Management of Artificial Intelligence Solutions focuses on a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence. This is needed to properly manage artificial intelligence projects and solutions. In this study program students will study the life cycle of artificial intelligence projects, their organization, and their execution.

The programme will prepare (English) language professionals who are competitive in the labour market and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) prompt engineers. Graduates will be able to successfully apply their knowledge of language and AI in a wide range of fields: research, security, politics, media, English language teaching (language courses), etc.
