Advanced PG Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Knowledge of nutrition for overall health and wellness as well as therapeutic nutrition is recognized as integral tools for the prevention and treatment of many diseases currently ailing the global population. the Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics (APGDCDN) is a program which integrates courses on health, nutrition and disease.

This qualification equips existing Enrolled Nurses with advanced clinical skills, management and leadership competencies, research skills and additional knowledge in the area of client management, assessment, and care.

This two-year course will provide you with advanced level skills to prepare you to work in the industry or progress to university to pursue a professional career. You will learn about communications, equality and diversity, health safety and security, life stages, anatomy and physiology, psychology and professional practice. You will complete block placements in an area of health and social care.

Utilizing advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and physical applications, a sonographer performs examinations to provide diagnostic ultrasound images for interpretation by a medical radiologist. As a member of a health-care team, the sonographer will produce images of internal body structures utilizing a variety of hand-held acoustical scanning probes and imaging techniques. The profession requires critical thinking skills, judgment, and the ability to provide safe and competent health care.

The Massage Therapy Ontario College Advanced Diploma program provides you with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for the profession. Graduates from this program are able to use their judgment to provide safe, competent, and ethical care as entry-to-practice massage therapists.

This qualification is designed to suit those in a Work Health and Safety role at a senior level. You will be able to apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in one or more work fields in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner.

Massage therapists provide safe, effective and ethical care, supporting the wellness of others through techniques that can help alleviate pain, reduce stress and promote relaxation. Through experiential learning in Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy, gain the skills and knowledge required to develop, implement and evaluate safe and effective treatment plans for a range of clients with unique treatment goals.

This qualification reflects the role of enrolled nurses with advanced skills who work in a specialised area of nursing practice. At this level, enrolled nurses integrate and adapt specialised, technical and theoretical knowledge to address a diverse range of clinical situations and challenges in their area of specialisation.

The practice of dental hygiene is “the assessment of teeth and adjacent tissues, treatment by preventive and therapeutic means, and the provision of restorative and orthodontic procedures and services” (DHA, 1991). Students will be prepared to provide oral health care in a variety of environments. Graduates will work within the scope of dental hygiene practice and in accordance with the regulations of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario

Massage Therapy (Accelerated) is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program offered in an accelerated format over two years. Students will learn to maintain, rehabilitate, and augment physical function to relieve pain. Students will be able to master their skills within the student-run clinic. Graduates will feel confident entering the workforce by having a strong understanding of massage theory and practice.

You’ll build your analytical, interpretation, and critical thinking skills to report patient results to provide clinicians with the vital information they need to provide the best courses of treatment for the patient. Through classroom learning, laboratory exercises, and clinical placements, you’ll learn to perform complex analyses necessary for diagnosis and treatment in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
