In this engineering program, you'll have the opportunity, during in-class lessons and labs, to put theory into practice through real-life applications. The Architectural Technology program will prepare you for a variety of careers in the building construction industry.

Centennial College's Architectural Technology program will prepare you for a variety of careers in the building industry. Among the various options will be working in an architectural firm where you'll apply your technical knowledge and skills to create building designs, analyze building code requirements, prepare construction drawings and carry out contract administration tasks during the construction phase. Alternatively, where permitted by legislation, you may directly offer building design and drawing services to clients on small building projects.

An advanced diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology will set you up as an industry leader – with the opportunity to continue your studies at the university level. After two years of the Electrical Engineering Technician program, you’ll specialize in year three – taking on a series of independent projects, and further honing the math, communication and reporting skills that will be critical to your success.

In this three-year advanced diploma program, you will be training for an exciting career as an engineering technologist with specializations in chemical/process engineering, chemical analysis and materials science. This program will provide you with hands-on experience and a solid background in basic biology, chemistry and mathematics. 

The key feature of this civil engineering design training course is dynamic and hands-on oriented. This program will build your career in road/highway engineering and infrastructure designs. Leading students to a successful career, this diploma can be pursued by both beginners and professionals in the civil engineering field. This civil engineering design and technology training program covers many related subjects. They include drafting, road/highway, and piping design in civil engineering. Students will learn how to use Canadian/Ontario design codes in civil design projects and how to perform construction estimation and how to manage civil projects. They will gain proficiency in using civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and InRoads. Furthermore, they will also learn how to use ORACLE Primavera and/or Microsoft Project to manage a civil project and how to use Microsoft Excel and Sage Timberline software for performance engineering estimation. Based on the standards of municipalities and the provincial government of Ontario, students will work on a civil design project at the end of the diploma program. This will help them adapt to a real work environment and join the workforce faster and with confidence. Currently, this program is offered in the Toronto area.
