The Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance has been developed as a progression route for students aiming for a Higher Education qualification in the subject area, and/or for students aiming for a career in business and management.

Earn a flexible diploma that shows you are aware of all areas of business, and that you also have specialized education in accounting. Accounting is one of seven majors available to Business Administration students. This three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program starts with three semesters of learning a variety of essential business skills before ultimately deciding on a Major.

At the Management level, you’ll focus on translating long term decisions into medium-term plans. Once you’ve completed it, you’ll be able to use data and relevant technology to manage organizational and individual performance, allocate resources to implement decisions; monitor and report the implementation of decisions; as well as prepare and interpret financial statements to highlight business performance. Once you’ve finished the Management Level, you’ll be awarded the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Adv Dip MA).

Level 5 is designed to enhance candidates understanding of finance and to fashion them into proprietary trading professionals. Trainees will be introduced to global financial futures markets encompassing divergent trading strategies inclusive of outright and spread trading (including inter-exchange, intra-exchange, and inter-commodity spreads) and arbitrage, used across FX, Fixed Income, Equity, and Commodity markets.
