4 Life Sciences A-level Programs

A-level programmes are made up of two halves. The first year is called an AS Level. The second year is called an A2. The two halves make up the final A-level grade.

This course explores topics such as the foundations of physics, forces, and motion, electrons, waves and photos, astrophysics and particles, along with developing your practical physics skills.

A level courses are a natural choice for you if you have enjoyed studying and have been successful on your GCSE courses. They offer you the chance to focus your attention on a smaller number of subjects – usually 3 or 4. This helps to build your knowledge and understanding in the areas in which you have proven strengths and strong interest.

Students who enjoy a multi-disciplinary approach to learning and have a keen interest in the sustainability of our planet will find this engaging and thought provoking. Key topics include the bio-physical environment, energy resources, pollution, circular economy and sustainability. This qualification has never been more relevant. This course is for students that care about the most important issue facing us all today, our environment. You will be advised on recommendations of specific textbooks and materials that are recommended for the study of this course.Two written exams at the end of the second year of the course.
