India has been a major seat of learning and education for thousands of years. The country was home to both Takshashila - the first university in the world, and to the inventor of the digit 0 - Aryabha?a. Albert Einstein once said:, "we owe a lot to the Indians who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made".
Today, India is known as a communication hub, and has become popular with international students from all over the world. It is highly attractive due to its forward thinking, its popularity with large multinational companies, and also due to English being the common language of communication

The town of St. Andrews is a quaint little town on the East Coast of Scotland. Despite its moderate size, the little town has two rather impressive claims to fame - the golf course and the university. For those who play golf, St. Andrews is Mecca, for me it was home.
As for most St. Andrews alumni, St. Andrews is attached to many fond memories. During four years the three streets sidled with old university buildings, many pubs, some shops and a few cafés were the setting of my life. What remains with me today are my friends, my degree and the memories built up over four years of ups and downs, successes and failures.

Good education--in the 80's
When I was attending this school, the quality of facility was good, thus I am speaking from my own experience from the 80's. The school imposed a healthy level of pressure for students to achieve academic goals. Over 90% of nursing students ended up passing the national licensing exam upon graduation. That is a very impressive number considering the program only awarded associate degrees. In comparison, there are only 65% students from universities who are earning a B.S. degree in nursing actually passing the exam these days.

Dear Friends, Namaskar. Namaste. Hi. I have enjoyed every moment of my time at I.I.T. Kharagpur, the campus and surrounding areas. I continue to cherish and treasure beautiful memories and hold them close to my heart. I learnt a lot at I.I.T. Kharagpur. Over the years I have tried to put to good use what I learnt at I.I.T. Kharagpur. I remain in touch with I.I.T. Kharagpur and my friends from there. I wish you all the very best in life and continued success in whatever you do. Have fun. Thanks, Nivedita Sahu. I.I.T. I study at Roehampton University
I'm currently a student at Roehampton and I can really recommend the school to others. The Campus is beautiful and really close to richmond park as well, and it takes about 30 min. to central London. I recommend living on Campus, there is always something fun going on, and it is a great way to meet new friends! But remeber to bring warm clothes, London gets really cold during the winter! Apart from that I really love everything about the city, there is something new to see and experience every weekend! //Julie

Study Economics in Switzerland
Hi,
I've studied economics for three years, and would like to study som courses abroad in the spring. I have searched your web page and found a university in Switzerland that is of interest. My question is how do I find relevant courses, apply, find out the application deadline, language requirements etc?
Thanks in advance
Answer
Hi,
If you go back to the page where you found your education of interest, you will also find the entrance requirements, relevant courses etc. Further down the page you will find the information request. Fill in your contact details and send - this will be sent directly to the school of interest. The school will then contact you with more information via email, telephone or by mailing you material. In order for you to receive the best information, it is best to let the school answer your questions.
You can also contact the school directly. You will find email and telephone number by clicking on the heading "contact information" on their page here on educations.com
Best regards,
