Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a public university, with a focus on engineering but with additional disciplines in science, arts, economics, management, and education.

ZUST is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, at the foot of Xiaohe Mountain, with a tranquil lake inside and rolling hills surrounding the campus.

Zhejiang University of Science and Technology is home to more than 18,500 students. There are currently 200 international students from over 20 countries, but ZUST is actively seeking ways of increasing its international students population and has introduced a number or scholarships.

ZUST's comittment to international cooperation is demonstrated by its successful cooperations with more than 30 universities in Germany, Romania, Australia, USA, U.K., France, Japan and Korea; and as a nominated pilot institution of Chinese-German cooperation in the area of application-orientated talent cultivation by the Ministry of Education.

Scholarships

In order to encourage outstanding foreign students to study at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, the International Education School has set up a number of scholarships. These include: the Outstanding Freshmen Scholarship; Outstanding Undergraduate Scholarship; Scholarship for Outstanding Chinese Language Advanced Students; HSK Winner Scholarship; Scholarship for Diligent Study; Scholarship for Social Service; Scholarship for Arts and Sports Activities; Scholarship for Arts and Sports Activities Participation; and Scholarship for Potential Talent for Foreign Students.
