Application and qualification

Application for admission to full-time undergraduate degrees at the University should normally be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). Full information can be obtained from the UCAS website.

The exception at Queen's is the School of Nursing and Midwifery for which application should be submitted direct to the School.
You can apply to UCAS from 1st September for entry the following autumn. The normal closing date for receipt of applications is 15th January. However, if you are applying for programmes leading to a professional qualification in Medicine or Dentistry in your choices then the closing date is 15th October in the year prior to entry.
Late applications are, in practice, accepted by UCAS throughout the remainder of the application cycle, but you should understand that they are considered by institutions at their discretion, and there can be no guarantee that they will be given the same full level of academic consideration as applications received by the official closing date.

Take care to enter the details of the institutions and courses clearly and correctly on the application form. For Queen's, the institution code name is QBELF and the institution code is Q75. These should be entered in the Choices Section of your UCAS application. Please note a Campus Code is not required.

Expenses

The tuition fee for full-time undergraduate and PGCE courses at Queen's will be £3,145 a year. Fees for students on sandwich year placements will be £625.

The annual increase for tuition fees will be linked to inflation.
