Thames Valley University (TVU) is one of the UK’s largest and most diverse Universities with around 25 000 students from 117 countries. The University campuses are located in West London (Ealing and Brentford) and Reading. All have excellent road and rail links.

Academic strengths
Thames Valley University offers a huge range of vocational and academic courses, offering pre-university, undergraduate, postgraduate and research education programmes as well as professional and short courses. The University is the largest provider of education in Hospitality, Healthcare, Business Management, Music and related disciplines in the UK.

TVU’s Reading campus provides a large range of pre-university courses including A-Levels, English language courses and National Diplomas.

The Graduate School
The Graduate School was set up in 2005 to enhance and co-ordinate support for all postgraduate research programmes and for research activity across the University. The University offers Master’s programmes in Research, in Learning and Teaching, as well as conventional MPhil, PhD and Professional Doctorate (music and health related). Thames_Valley_University_ealingEaling, home to the Ealing campus of Thames Valley University, has a green and leafy environment with more than 1,900 acres of park and open space. It is just 20 - 30 minutes on the London Underground from Central London.

Reading is a vibrant and lively town in the heart of the UK's 'Silicon Valley'. Shopping and leisure is easy, with the town centre and the Oracle Shopping Centre just ten minutes from the Kings Road site.

The Faculty of Health and Human Sciences is based at our Brentford campus. Our Brentford campus is also home to our halls of residence. The local area of Brentford has a lot to offer for residents, from a wide range of leisure, food and drink venues, and shop facilities, as well as all the public services you would expect. Within Brentford, there are a wide range of leisure activities. You can choose from sports and fitness centres to art centres and galleries.



Thames_Valley_University_housingParagon is an award-winning state of the art accommodation centre for TVU students which opened in September 2006 and is close to the Ealing campus. Rooms are fitted to the highest standard with broadband internet access. The site offers 24-hour security with CCTV, a fully staffed office for any help or information students may need, and is available to all who are studying at Thames Valley University, including EU and international students. Paragon also houses student accommodation, 810 study rooms and 29 studio apartments available for students; each has a study bedroom, fitted kitchen and en-suite toilet and shower facilities.
