One-Year Fashion Design Course

Istituto Marangoni offers a One-Year Fashion Design Course. This course offers students the opportunity to complete their fashion education in limited time. During eight months of classes, students will learn how to design collections and manage research, creativity and marketing. Your programme begins with the development of a personal sketching language. Then you will learn how to discipline your creativity to fit the marketplace and fulfill consumers' demands.

Through pattern making techniques, students at the One-Year Fashion Design Course will understand the various aspects of production and work according to the correct design process. Finally, students will design collections for several men's and women's lines. And all this in an environment and in three cities, Milan, Paris and London, where one breathes fashion and design on a daily basis.

Admission requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Before enrolling, it is advisable to attend an orientation course.

Students may attend the One-Year Fashion Design Course in Milan, Paris or London. Because the teaching system is the same in all the three cities, you can also move from one city to the other at the end of each academic year and without any additional costs or exams. You simply need to re-enroll indicating which city you prefer to study in during your following academic year.

Istituto Marangoni has introduced supplementary courses in Italian, French and English focusing on the terminology of fashion and design. These language courses are useful in order to achieve a basic comprehension level of the lessons.
