Welcome to Bahcesehir University - a World University at the Heart of Istanbul

Bahcesehir University was founded in 1998 as a foundation university. Since then it has constantly expanded its intellectual boundaries and maintained its commitment to provide high quality university education by focusing on the fundamental academic disciplines.

Bahcesehir University offers 30 programs at undergraduate level in 6 faculties and 43 programs at graduate level in 2 institutes. Bahcesehir University has an English Preperatory School and a vocational school for 2 year programmes. Furthermore, the university has numerous education certificate programmes offered by the Continuous Education Center of Bahcesehir University, the Outreach Program Center, The School of Government and Leadership and the Institute for Global Understanding and Rule of Law.

The language of instruction for all programmes is English. The aim is to give students a mastery of the fundamentals, with an emphasis on professional and intellectually driven learning and self-reliance.

All of the programs, including master's, aim to equip students with knowledge, creativity and innovations well as the practical skills necessary for employment. They provide options that are responsive to today's economic conditions and are tailored to suit each individual student's educational requirements and career goals.

The overall academic philosophy of Bahcesehir University is to provide students with a challenging and friendly environment in which they can pursue active learning, develop socially and culturally, become increasingly independent learners, acquire knowledge and skills such as problem solving and decision making, and develop strong ethical and moral standards.
