The City Law School LLB is designed to give you a detailed understanding of the essential areas of law and to encourage the development of special interests. As a City graduate you will be well equipped to complete the professional training that is required for a legal career, as well as a wide range of alternative careers. The study of law produces graduates who are confident of their academic abilities, and who have valuable skills in logical thinking and analysis of issues.

All applications to undergraduate degree courses should be made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). You can apply through the UCAS website www.ucas.com

, traces its origins back to 1894 and became a full university in 1966. It is a fully recognised and accredited institution of higher education in the UK education system. The University (“City”), is situated close to the City of London, on the edge of the financial district, and also a short bus ride to the theatres and shops of the West End.
The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in business, computing, engineering and mathematics, journalism, law, music, social sciences (economics, politics, psychology, sociology and media studies) and health sciences (nursing & midwifery, optometry, radiography, speech therapy).
City University London
has close contacts with leading professional institutions and businesses worldwide, and more than two thirds of its courses are recognized by relevant professional bodies. Many courses include an optional internship with leading international companies such as Microsoft and Rolls Royce. City is known as “the University for business and the professions” and the links with industry ensure a high ranking in official surveys of graduate employability.
City has 13000 students with a third coming from over 150 different countries across the world. There are a number of scholarships available to international students which are awarded on the basis of academic merit. Students reflect very positively on their experience at City, and we have alumni networks across the world.

is its location. The University is on the doorstep of the City of London, one of the worlds leading Financial Centers, from which, of course, it takes its name.
City is also conveniently close to the West End with its cultural riches and some of London’s most vibrant nightlife. And even closer still is Islington, the immediate local area, which is a lively and cosmopolitan district.
First year undergraduate students are guaranteed a place in University housing if they firmly accept an offer of a place on a course before the middle of May in the year they plan to commence their studies. All housing is close to
