Warangal is the 5th biggest city in the state of Andhra Pradesh and is next to Hyderabad in the region of Telengana. Located at a distance of 135 kilometers from the state capital of Andhra Pradesh it has so far creditably passed through from pre-historic times to the present day.
The historical monuments of this region with excellent architectural styles have been attracting a wide variety of people from various parts of the world. The twin cities of Warangal and Hanamkonda are known tourist places with various sightseeing places like Warangal Fort, Temple Hill of Bhadrakali, the vast and dense forests of Eturnagaram and Parkal, Lakes, Enchanting Gardens, Wide roads with historical structures, Animal Sanctuaries, Zoological Park, Science Museums, Planetarium etc.

1. Pothana hostel with 94 rooms and 6 guest rooms
2. Prataprudra hostel - with 86 rooms and 3 guest rooms
3. Ganapati Deva hostel - with 24 rooms and 2 guest rooms
4. Padmakshi, ladies hostel - with 54 rooms and 2 guest rooms
5. University hostel (P5 quarter for ladies) - with 20 rooms and 1 guest room
6. Pharmacy hostel old - with 30 rooms and 2 guest rooms
7. Pharmacy hostel new - with 16 rooms and 1 guest room
Apart from the above-mentioned 7 hostels in the campus there are 2 more hostels outside the campus at Subedari to accommodate the students of University post-graduate college and University college of Law as follows:
1. University PG hostel-1, Subedari - with 14 rooms and 1 guest room
2. University Law hostel, Subedari - with 16 rooms and 1 guest room
All the hostels of the
Kakatiya University have well-ventilated rooms, individual electrical connections, dining halls, on duty care-taker, electrician and security guards, internal and external telephone facilities and well-maintained toilets.
