The first year of the International Hospitality & Tourism Management Bachelor's Degree (Travel & Tourism route) programme at West London College been specifically designed to provide for this segment of the job market and gives comprehensive training in the management, computing, and airline ticketing skills that are required by the industry.

IATA qualified instructors use course materials and study manuals prepared by Virgin Atlantic to teach fares and ticketing skills up to IATA Level 2 standard and the sophisticated Galileo Computerised Reservation System to Galileo's own professional standard. The course is particularly suited to those who would eventually like to open their own travel agency but can also be used for employment by travel agencies, tour operators and all airlines (not just Virgin Atlantic).

West_London_College_housingThe College provides comfortable and reasonably priced hostel accommodation within easy travelling range of the campus.

The hostels are typically located in the fashionable districts of Swiss Cottage, Notting Hill, Bayswater and Queensway which are among some of the most sought after residential areas in London. Double or dormitory rooms are available and all are offered on a half-board basis, with breakfast and evening meals provided and all bills included in the rental price. All hostels are located close to bus routes and tube stations so that students can use public transport to reach West London College, usually within 30 minutes.
