
International Construction Management
International
Construction Management is a 2 year exchange programme for students of the
ICM partner institutions of Hanze University Groningen. The course is aimed at students with a keen interest in construction, have a good eye for detail, good communication skills and enjoy the prospect of studying or working abroad.
Graduates in International Construction Management are trained to become construction engineers who are also able to work in an
international setting with specialist knowledge in
materials, techniques, calculations, structures and European building
regulations. You will speak one or more foreign languages and be comfortable in consulting with principals, subcontractors,
advisors and authorities.
Structure of International Construction Management programme
Students of ICM partners follow this course structure:
Semester 1 study at home institution
Semester 2 study at home institution
Semester 3 study at home institution
Semester 4 study at home institution
Semester 5 theory course at Hanzehogeschool Groningen
Semester 6 theory course at Hanzehogeschool Groningen
Semester 7 industrial training The Netherlands
Semester 8 final project in home country for home institution (and optional for Hanze University Groningen)
