International Business and Management Studies
Zuyd University (university of applied sciences) offers a four-year Bachelor degree study programme in International Business and Management Studies. This is a course with a strong international focus. The entire programme is taught in English, which allows international students to participate in all classes.

During the four-year study, you'll be trained in a wide range of business and management skills, including two foreign languages, marketing, economics, management, finance and accounting, cross-cultural management and international law. To stress the international character of the course, you'll spend a full year abroad to follow lectures and gain international work experience.

Classes are relatively small (with a maximum capacity of 30 students) and interactive. Students of IBMS come from many countries, such as Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Germany, Indonesia, The Netherlands, Russia and the USA.

Application and qualification

Students who want to be enrolled in the IBMS programme should be flexible and prepared to accept the challenge of studying abroad with people of many different cultural backgrounds. In order to successfully complete the study programme, you should be independent and mature enough to live in a foreign country.

Generally speaking, a secondary school diploma (e.g. havo, vwo, Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, (I)GCSE or international baccalaureate diploma) will give access to our study programme.

Furthermore, you will have to prove that you have a good command of the English language (an IELTS score of at least 6 or a computer-based TOEFL score of at least 213).

Zuyd University is a university of applied sciences situated in the Dutch province of Limburg, the southernmost part of the Netherlands. This strategic location is at the heart of one of Europe's most important and prosperous regions, the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion.
