To enter the first year of a four-year study programme, you must have obtained a degree that meets the national university entrance requirements

Exemptions can be granted and are based on previous work experience and /or education. Requests for exemptions will be evaluated and granted on individual basis.

Required English level:
Also a good command of the English language is required to attend the IBMS programme. English level should be equivalent to a TOEFL level of 550 (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based). Non-EU students need an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent).
Students who do not have the required level of English can first take a Pre Course English at HZ.

After successfully graduating from the IBMS programme at HZ, you will hold the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (B.BA).

EU students: 1,672 Euro
Non-EU students : 4,385 Euro

Extra costs for insurance
As a foreign student, you will have to conclude a health insurance and a liability insurance. For more information, please take a look at the pre-arrival information.

Administration & living costs for all non EU students:
These amounts were effective for the academic year 2008-2009 and may be revised by the immigration services for the academic year 2009-2010
Administration costs: 550 Euro (non refundable)
Visa costs: 250 Euro
Costs for a residence permit: 188 Euro
Costs of livins/year: a proof of sufficient means is required by the Dutch immigration services. This amount will be transferred to your Dutch account which you need to open once you arrive in the Netherlands.
Costs of living/year: 7,750 Euro for degree students
Costs of living/semester: 3,275 Euro for exchange students
