IDCEThe Institute for the development of consulting and enterprise (IDCE) is an associate institute of the "Université Catholique de l'Ouest" and specialises in economics and business management. The university was founded in 1875 and has a student population of 12,000.

The university campus boasts an unusual architectural blend of old and contemporary buildings, standing in a 5-hectare park.

The IDCE was created in 1988 in Angers, France. The institute is comprised of two schools: The Consulting School and The Management of International Business School.

The IDCE's aim is to train tomorrow's managers and consultants to conduct business in a globalised world.

Angers, France, lies in the heart of the Loire Valley is the capital of the famous Anjou wineproducing region, only an hour and a half from Paris.

Angers is a university town that offers a great diversity of cultural activities: a 13th century castle, numerous museums, film festivals, theatre, music. Its inhabitants enjoy a pleasant environment consisting of 360 hectares of parks and gardens, besides 67 kilometres of cycle paths.

France has acquired a reputation for its high quality of living, fine food, wine and fashion. Today France is the fourth economic power in the world and second exporter of services worldwide.



Accomodation

The Université Catholique de l'Ouest International Relations Office is there specifically to help foreign students. They assist students in applying for official papers such as a student ID card, a resident’s permit, or to help them with finding accommodation. There are a variety of student accomodation options from hostels, halls of residences, flats, bed-sits, homestay or family accommodation.
