Humanities and Social Sciences, Vancouver Island University
The Humanities and Social Sciences section is the largest faculty at Vancouver Island University. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees offer 27 majors and minors including Anthropology, Criminology, Economics, History, Global Studies and Psychology. Many of these programs along with our Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees are excellent preparation for Graduate Programs and professional degrees such as: Law, Medicine, Architecture, Dentistry among others.
The Faculty of Education hasa Bachelor of Education BEd, Post-Baccalaureate BEd and Master of Education MEd.
Qualifications for Humanities and Social Sciences degrees:
- VIU English language requirements.
- BA requires high school graduation and may require specific subject prerequisites.
