General EnglishGeneral English

This course is for students who are either preparing for the Professional Business English course or who are interested in developing their communication skills at a pre-intermediate level.  At this level there is a strong emphasis on interactive communication but also as an introduction to the business world.

General English is delivered from Pre-Intermediate level. Students are allocated to a group of an appropriate level with no more than 18 students in each class.

The  General English curriculum focuses on building confidence across all skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening and it takes a more active grammar based approach in order to build structure.

Performance English is centrally located between Town Hall station and Darling Harbour.  Many of the corporate clients are also located within a few blocks from the school which is easily reached by train, ferry or bus.  The waterfront of Cockle Bay is only one block from the building and the school is surrounded by many excellent cafés, restaurants and shops.  Nearby Queen Victoria Building is great for shopping and all parts of the city centre are within walking distance.



Performance English offers both homestay and executive share apartments as an accommodation option. While homestay families are usually located within a commutable distance of the city centre, the share apartments are more centrally located.
