Electronic Product Design and Engineering
The Electronic Product Design and
Engineering programme last for two semesters. The first semester consists of
lectures, labs and training. In the second semester students concentrate on their
final project.
Modern electronics engineers adopt a concurrent
approach of hardware and software designing and engineering. Students must be
able to create, model and engineer inventive electronic product solutions.
Key topics of study in the Electronic Product Design and
Engineering programme include:
- Electro Magnetic Compatibility
- C for Microcontrollers
- protocols
- solid works
- Radio Frequency
(RF)
- telecom
- Hardware
Description Language (VHDL)
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
Opportunities in Electronic Product Design and
Engineering
As an electronic engineer graduates can seek employment in the research and development department
of a company, in prototyping and production preparation and related areas such
as testing, application, marketing, purchasing and logistics.
