Electro_Mechanical_Engineering_Technician_Automation_Robotics1Choose the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician - Automation & Robotics program at Centennail College Centennial College if you are interested in building a rewarding career in the high-tech field of automation with the expertise you will gain in this comprehensive program. Automated systems - the program's focus - are at the heart of virtually all advanced manufacturing industries.

In this education, the emphasis is on the basic technology used in building and operating automated industrial systems: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and robotics. Courses will give you a thorough understanding of theory, along with practical, practical laboratory experience.

Upon completing the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician - Automation & Robotics program students can choose to either graduate as technicians after two years, or continue for additional study and co-op work experience in Centennial's three-year Automation and Robotics Technology program.

This program exists in a fast-track version.

Application and qualification

Qualifications for admission:

Centennial College expects students that are applying for admission to certificate or diploma programs to ba able to present at minimum an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or be 19 years of age or older. Possession of minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.

Academic Requirements for the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician - Automation & Robotics program:
- compulsory English 12C or U or skills assessment, or equivalent
- math 11M or U, or 12C or U or skills assessment, or equivalent

Centennial College does not charge an application fee, it is free.

You can then submit your educational transcripts to our International Education Centre by mail, fax or scan copies by e-mail. The college would require your high school transcripts and also your college or university transcripts. Please note that the transcripts you send us must be attested. Once these documents are received, they will be reviewed and an admission decision will be made.
