The Faculty of Economics & Management is the largest faculty of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, and was founded in 1952.

Originally, the faculty was concerned with agricultural economics and the operation of farms; today the faculty operates within a wide variety of educational fields within economics, management, administration, rural/regional development and informatics.

There are approximately 6,000 students enrolled at the Faculty of Economics and Management, studying a diverse range of educational programmes both full and part-time.

Research is a fundamental aspect of the Faculty of Economics and Management. This not only attracts the best academics in the field, but also helps to impart the lastest theory and knowledge to its students. Faculty staff are currently engaged in international grant projects in collaboration with other universities worldwide; national grant projects, funded by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic amongst others; and internal grant projects comissioned by the university itself.

As a part of the Faculty of Economics & Management's internationalisation of studies and research strategy, the university now offers a number of english-only taught programmes. This is to develop and improve the current level of international relations in line with the faculty development goals.
