All 17 Birkbeck submissions to the RAE had at least 60% of their research classified as 'internationally recognised'. Also, 11 of 17 submissions had the majority of their research categorised as 'internationally excellent' and 'world leading'.

I took a Diploma Course in Social Policy and the Care Sector and the experience was wonderful.Not only I didn`t have English as a first Language but also ,I was a full time mother to two very young children and my self-confidence was at a very low point.However my lecturers gave me the support I needed and for that I am forever grateful.
