The Bachelor of Computing is a comprehensive 3-year degree course that
encompasses computer science and software engineering with an applied
orientation. The programme focuses on the fast developing areas of multimedia and the internet, mobile and ubiquitous computing, software engineering, artificial intelligence, systems and networks, and information security.
The course provides students with an up-to-date teaching in programming languages and systems engineering. The programme also incorporates an active interaction with the Tasmanian business community, in which students undertake software engineering projects to provide fully-developed solutions to real-industry problems
