The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree program emphasizes contemporary theories, research and the useful application of knowledge to current problems experienced by people, both individually and collectively. The BA course also requires students to take courses in a foreign language.
Teaching styles in the department vary from lecture and discussion to media presentations. Students work independently and in teams, acquiring leadership and academic skills that translate well into the workplace.
Psychology students also receive hands-on training and have access to the department’s simulation lab, which allows them to participate in scenarios similar to what they will experience in the field.
