Bachelor in Business International Law
This international Final Year programme has been created for students that have completed three years of higher education in Business Management or related study and wish to finish their four year bachelor programme with an international specialization or for students that have their bachelor title and wish to receive an additional (internationally acknowledged) Dutch bachelor degree in Management, Economy and Law (BBA) by completing this international Final year.

This Bachelor in Business & International Law programme offers an opportunity for international students (EU and non-EU) to learn to deal with international business challenges, experience inter cultural differences and develop new approaches to international cooperation in the business and public domain taking important legal and society issues into account. Related issues are: legal aspects of international business relations, corporate governance, business ethics and compliance to international codes.

It is an opportunity to develop expertise in solving problems and dealing with issues that arise in international business activities where international business strategy meets political, legal and ethical demands. As a future international consultant you wish to expand your skills in cooperating with others in an inter cultural and international setting.

The Bachelor in Business & International Law programme offers good opportunities to develop relevant professional competencies like negotiating, advising, project management, inter cultural communication, doing research and translating legal knowledge into practical solutions. The courses contain a broad variety of lectures and workshops.

Application and qualification

Before you can be admitted to this degree course you need to have a secondary school certificate and a minimum of three years of higher education in any discipline related to and including Business administration.

As a beginning professional you have learned to apply knowledge and skills suitable for management and staff positions at the middle or higher level in all sorts of organizations: i.e. profit and non-profit, governmental, industrial and service organizations.

Some jobs descriptions are: compliance officer with international bank or trust companies, corporate social responsibility officer for large international companies, account manager for international small business, international trading officer, legal consultant to a trade organization, (non) governmental integrity auditor, labor organization officer, commercial-legal expert and many more.

Saxion University of Applied Sciences HollandThe Netherlands, home to Saxion University of Applied Sciences, is well known worldwide, not only because of its beautiful tulips or because of the “Orange Football Club”. Many international students have experienced that the Netherlands is also a reliable address for students worldwide, due to its high quality of education. Every year there are thousands students from all over the world coming to study in the Netherlands.



Since it is quite difficult to find suitable housing by yourself, Saxion arrange accommodation for most of our international students. Saxion University of Applied Sciences provide accommodation for international students in Deventer and Enschede. In these cities we have contracts with the local student housing associations. They provide Saxion with apartments with rooms in various sizes. The rooms are all single rooms and furnished with the standard facilities like bed, desk, chair and cupboard. The apartment has an (wireless) internet connection. The bathroom, toilet and kitchen need to be shared with housemates.

For package fee students (visa-students) it is compulsory to rent the accommodation through Saxion Universities of Applied Sciences during the first academic year. Students from EU/EER countries can request for a room arranged by Saxion Universities if they are not able to find their own accommodation.
