The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management prepares graduates for a challenging career in this fascinating and growing industry. Close cooperation with the aviation sector is a special feature of this programme, underlined by the fact that the curriculum was developed together with Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
The EBS Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management aims to prepare students for management responsibilities in the fascinating and rapidly growing air transport sector.The programme is characterized by intensive working partnerships with companies fromthe air transport sector, currently with Deutsche Lufthansa AG in particular. During the FIBAA accredited intensive study programme, students acquire 200 ECTS credits, 60 % of which cover business studies-related and 40 % aviation-related content.
The study programme consists of 6 semesters, one of which is spent abroad at a partner university that offers a corresponding programme in Aviation Management. In the Bachelor in Aviation Management the academic semesters are also complemented by internship, educare projects, and seminar and project work completed during the semester breaks.
In addition to selected modules and courses from the Bachelor in General Management programme, specialist aviationmodules deal with all the relevant organizations, products and processes in the air transport sector. The lecturers who deliver the aviation modules hold prominent positions in air transport companies and have several years of experience in this industry. 95% of the programme is taught in English. The Bachelor's thesis submitted at the end of the programme should address a topic from the field of aviation management.
