BBA - Bachelor of Business Administration

Since IUKB introduced its first BBA - Bachelor of Administration program the goal has been to bring together the best of two worlds - on one hand the well-known international business approach and on the other hand the high quality of Swiss education.

The BBA - Bachelor of Administration program at IUKB is designed for high school graduates that want to start their careers in business. After three years of study, students will have good knowledge of all fields of business including marketing, management, finance, communication, HR, quantitative base analysis (QBA), economics, social science, computer technique and law. Once they graduate, students will have built up a knowledge base that can be applied directly on the world of business.

The BBA - Bachelor of Administration program is focused on management and reduces the number of side subjects such as mathematics, statistics, economics or social sciences. The entire education is run in a multicultural environment. After studying the major for 5 terms, students can choose to specialize in management or tourism. Courses in English are offered to students that do not fulfill the minimum requirements.

The BBA - Bachelor of Administration program is divided into 6 terms where every semester can be taken separately to meet student demand. The last term is focused on the courses needed to complete the chosen specialization. Because of the block division students can start the program at the beginning of the winter or summer term.

- Students that successfully complete term 1 and 2 receive a Certificate of Business Administration
- Students that successfully complete term 1-4 receive a Diploma of Business Administration
- Students that successfully complete term 1-6 receive a Bachelor of Business Administration or a Bachelor of Tourism Management

The University Campus of IUKB - L'Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch is placed in Sion, the capital of Valais, which is situated in the southern part of Swtizerland.
