The school has established a reputation for quality and innovation regarding their Architecture and Spatial Design courses. Teachers are taken from some of London's best practices and combine tests with practice.

Lessons are held in small studios, are demanding, creative and challenging. The school's earlier students have been successful in several competitions, among them RIBA (silver medals 2002, 2003 and bronze 2004).

In the school's specially designed building you will find a dark room, technical support for computers and photographs along with a materials library.

London Metropolitan University is the largest single University in London and one of the largest Universities in the UK with over 37,000 students and with buildings spread throughout the centre of London.

London Metropolitan University has many specialist facilities to support their courses, including: the most modern Science Centre in the world; their famous Graduate Centre designed by Daniel Libeskind; sound and recording studios; a mock courtroom; a lighting laboratory complete with artificial sky and heliodon for our Architecture students; the internationally renowned Women's Library and seven floors of IT facilities in our Technology Tower.

London Metropolitan University has a good cooperation with the City of London and the largest sponsor businesses such as Bank of England, KPMG, London Stock Exchange and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

At the school campus, there are plenty of activities for students. The school is also London’s number one sporting university. Facilities include superb gyms and an Olympic standard basketball court.

London

London Metropolitan University campus in northern London is located in Islington on and around Holloway Road. Only a few minute’s walk from the school campus, you will find Upper Street and Hollway Road bars, cafés and restaurants for all tastes and budgets. The area around campus is full of houses from different periods, antiquity markets and large park areas. For those of you interested in football this is also home for the Arsenal foot ball team.

There are great communications in the area. If you want to go in to central London you can take the tube from: Holloway Road (Picadilly Line) or Highbury and Islington (Victoria Line). Trains run from Highbury & Islington and Drayton Park
